The MobyDick ONE wheel washing system can be adapted to a customer’s needs in terms of washing power and water recycling. With the appropriate equipment, MobyDick says ONE can handle even the highest degree of soiling. MobyDick offers a variety of modern and practical solutions all from one source – whether standard or tailor-made. With the latest technology and a large product range, MobyDick says its specialists can solve almost any problem related to trackout and site emissions.

System provides solutions for trucks

NESCO’s DirtSquirt wheel wash is an option to keep the neighbors happy. The DirtSquirt is an effective, affordable system that can be set up at a company’s “front door” as a dust control system. The DirtSquirt uses about 20 gallons per minute and is entirely portable, NESCO says. The DirtSquirt power washes tires so trucks hit the pavement clean. The system features two sets of 1.5-in. galvanized spray manifolds with high-pressure spray nozzles. Also, an all-weather motion sensor detects passing trucks and turns the wheel wash on and off.

Portable wheel wash for medium-sized quarries

Stanton Systems’ portable STB 75 steel modular ash features 75 hp and runs 20 ft. long. That’s roughly two rotations of a tire, the company says. According to Stanton Systems, the STB 75 requires about four days to install. The STB 75 can be delivered galvanized or painted. A separate tank, which Stanton Systems can supply, is required for the system. The STB 75 is designed for medium-sized quarries, the company adds.
